Hannah Leigh Nelson was born August 19th, 1990. She has absolutely no idea if there was a birth announcement for her birth or not; that's probably really old fashioned. She's been starting stories for as long as she can remember, but ending the stories was always her biggest problem. Her first book was about a robin's egg and was written on construction paper with original illustrations. Other stories included a journal about immortals that could somehow die {oh, we loathe to bring it up, but it is hilarious to cringe at in retrospect}, a ring that could control the universe, and several pathetic stories based on fantasies she'd hoped would happen with junior high crushes. Keeping these substandard but beautiful stories company were the books that she devoured ravenously throughout much of grade school. Favorites, you ask? Why, she'd be only too glad to oblige.

- The Historian, by Elizabeth Kostova
- The Phantom of the Opera, by Gaston Leroux
- The Phantom Tollbooth, by Norton Juster
- The Neverending Story, by Michael Ende

Just to name a few.
